These terms govern the use of the 1qr2.com website and all of the services it offers.

By creating an account, registering, or using the site or its services, the user acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these terms of use in full, without reservation.

1. Purpose of the service

1qr2.com provides customizable QR codes that let anyone who finds a lost item or pet contact its owner, as well as the sale of physical products (collars, keyrings, stickers, etc.) carrying these codes.

2. User account

Creating an account requires a valid email address.

The user is solely responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for the accuracy and upkeep of the information they provide. They freely decide which information is visible to people who scan their QR codes.

Any activity carried out through the account is deemed to have been performed by the user.

3. Subscriptions and payment

The site offers a free plan as well as paid subscriptions (billed in Swiss francs) giving access to additional features.

Plan details and pricing are shown when choosing a subscription.

A paid subscription can be cancelled at any time from the user profile; it remains active until the end of the period already paid for. No pro-rata refund is due, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

4. Shop and orders

Physical items sold in the shop are personalized with one of the user's QR codes and paid for via Stripe.

Displayed prices are in Swiss francs, shipping included.

Once an order ships, tracking details are sent by email along with the tracking number. Delivery times are indicative only and not contractual.

5. Delivery

Orders placed in our shop are handed over to Swiss Post (La Poste Suisse) for shipping.

For deliveries outside Switzerland, the recipient may be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by the authorities of the destination country. These charges are beyond our control and remain entirely the recipient's responsibility.

It is the recipient's responsibility to find out about the customs formalities applicable in their country in advance and to be available to receive the shipment.

No refund will be given for shipments refused by the recipient, nor for shipments that are not collected, regardless of the reason.

6. Content and use

The user agrees to use the service only for lawful purposes and not to publish, through their response pages or custom messages, any unlawful, abusive, defamatory content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or delete any account used abusively or in breach of these terms, without notice or compensation.

7. Liability and limitation of liability

The 1qr2.com service is provided "as is".

Although we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of the service, we do not guarantee in any way:

• uninterrupted or error-free availability;
• absolute protection against cyberattacks, hacking, intrusions, denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, data loss, technical failures, or any other malfunction.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 1qr2.com, its publishers, administrators, providers, and partners can under no circumstances be held liable for:

• the consequences of cyberattacks, hacking, unauthorized access, security breaches, or any compromise of system integrity, even where these events affect user data;
• any loss, direct or indirect damage, data loss, business interruption, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, non-material harm, or any other harm resulting from the unavailability, malfunction, interruption, failure, or use of the service;
• the consequences of contact information that is incorrect, outdated, incomplete, or deliberately not shared by a user;
• use of the service by third parties, the recovery (or non-recovery) of items or pets via the QR codes, or any dispute between users and third parties.

The user expressly acknowledges and accepts that use of the service is entirely at their own risk.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, 1qr2.com's total liability, on any basis whatsoever, is limited to the total amount actually paid by the user for subscriptions or orders during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the damage (or to zero in the case of free-of-charge use only).

8. Termination

The user may modify or delete their account at any time directly from their profile area on 1qr2.com.

Deleting the account results in the deletion of the associated personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of non-compliance with these terms, without notice or compensation.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By creating an account, the user acknowledges having read this policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

1qr2.com is operated from Switzerland.

These terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law.

Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the publisher's registered office, subject to any mandatory legal provisions to the contrary (in particular regarding consumer protection).
