Set up your 1qr2 tag in 5 minutes
From creating your account to attaching the tag to your item: the full journey, step by step.
1. Create your free account
Head to the sign-up page and create your account in a few moments: first name, last name, email and password are all it takes. No card details are required for the free plan.
2. Register a QR code for your item
From "My QR codes", add a new code and choose its category (dog, cat, child, keys, bike, wallet, other). A unique identifier is generated automatically — that's what links the item to your account.
3. Choose what information to show
From the QR code's management page, turn on only the information you want to show whoever scans it: first name, mobile, landline, email, address, or a custom message. By default, only your first name and mobile number are shown — you can change everything at any time.
4. Print your code or order a durable tag
Download your QR code as a PNG and print it yourself on a label of your choice, or order an already-engraved tag from our shop on a suitable item (collar, keyring, medallion...), ready to use and far more durable over time.
5. Attach the tag and test it
Stick or attach the tag to the item or accessory, then scan it yourself once with your own phone to check the right information appears. Your tag is ready: if it's ever lost, whoever finds it will be able to reach you with a single scan.
