Found an item or a pet with a 1qr2 tag? Here's what to do
Nothing to install, no account to create: here's how to reach the owner in under a minute.
Scan the code — that's all it takes
Open your phone's camera app, or any QR code scanner, and point it at the small sticker or medallion marked "1qr2.com". A link appears on screen: tap it, and it takes you straight to a 1qr2.com page dedicated to that specific item. Nothing to install, no account to create.
What you'll see on the page
The page only shows the information the owner chose to share for this particular tag: a first name, a phone number, an email, an address, or a custom message explaining what to do. When enough information is available, an "Add to contacts" button lets you save those details straight to your phone.
If no information is shown
Sometimes the owner hasn't yet chosen to make their details visible on that tag. In that case, the simplest option is to leave the item somewhere safe: the front desk of a nearby shop, a police station, or an animal shelter if it's a pet.
Special case: an injured or distressed animal
If the animal looks injured or in distress, contact a vet or a shelter first, even if a contact number is shown on the page — its immediate safety comes first.
